MAUSER increases shareholding in IBC Joint Venture Fanshun MAUSER Shanghai Packaging Co. Ltd., China

MAUSER Group, a worldwide leading company in industrial packaging, is increasing its shareholding in its Shanghai based IBC joint venture Fanshun MAUSER Shanghai Packaging Co. Ltd.. Mauser Holding International GmbH and Shanghai Fanshun Company, a leading rigid packaging producer in China, agreed to increase the MAUSER stake in their mutual joint venture for IBCs, Fanshun MAUSER Shanghai Packaging Co., Ltd., from 32.5% to 50%. The agreement has been signed on March 23rd, 2014, in Shanghai during a memorable signing ceremony in the presence of key customers.

As part of the agreement, the IBC production assets of Mauser Packaging (Jiangsu) Co. Ltd. will be transferred to the joint venture. Fanshun MAUSER Shanghai Packaging Co. Ltd. will continue to supply the growing Chinese market for high quality IBCs from both locations, Shanghai and JiangYin. Philippe Larretgère has been appointed the general manager of the joint venture and is relocating to Shanghai.
